John is delighted to be giving a keynote speech at the upcoming International Urban Forestry Congress 2018 in Vancouver, BC September 30 - October 3, 2018.
The objective of the congress 'The Urban Forest – Diverse in Nature' is to bring together professionals, researchers and educators in urban forestry, arboriculture, landscape architecture, urban planning and related fields to share experiences and information about aspects of diverse urban forests for diverse urban communities. There will be three separate conferences brought together as one in October 2018 to form a unique congress.
i) Canadian Urban Forest Conference (CUFC)
ii) Pacific Northwest Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture Conference (PNW-ISA)
iii) Urban Tree Diversity Conference (UTD)
This three-day congress will bring together leading experts from across the globe and allows for dialogue between professionals and community groups on innovative strategies, policies, technologies, research and best management practices.-IUFC
The theme of the congress is " The Urban Forest – Diverse in Nature " and John will talk about his work with Treehab® (Tree Climbing Therapy® and Tree-Assisted Therapy®).
